Despite a shortened week due to the bank holiday we had an incredibly productive and successful week in Clover Class!
In Maths we have moved on to a new topic of shape which has seen as exploring angles particularly looking at how how we can compare angles to right angles. We have been using the terminology acute for those larger than right angles and obtuse for those between a right angle and straight line.
Our writing this week has focused on writing Greek myths around mythical creatures that we created last week. This ties in with our continued topic work on the ancient Greeks and our class novel which we are thoroughly enjoying!
Another successful which swimming session was had on Thursday afternoon with all children having an amazing time and huge progress made by some.
Perhaps the highlight of many children's week was our computing session where we excelled on Turtle Academy generating multiple different shapes and patterns using the repeat function 🐢
