Welcome back everyone! The children have settled back into the Poppy Class and had a great first four days back.
This half term, we are learning about how things grow and change. We have started off by looking at how we grow and change, discussing the life cycle of a human, linking this to sequencing pictures of babies, toddlers, teenagers etc...
Our focus books over week one and two are: Avocado Baby and The Growing Story. We will be re-telling, sequencing and writing about the story Avocado Baby. We had a taste test of avocados last Friday and the children proclaimed to feel stronger after eating just a little bit! So if you need your furniture moving or your shopping carried home from Sainsburys, then let them know!
