This week in maths, children have continued to learn about time. Children have been comparing durations of time and then using this to calculate start and end times. We have also used clocks to measure time in seconds.
In English, children have been continued to read Charlie and the Chocolate factory. This week, we have focused on using Rainbow Grammar to create exciting speech. Children have also used adverbial of time and place to make their writing more detailed.
In science, children have set up an investigation to see how plants grow in different conditions. Children have decided if their plant will not have water, sunlight or warmth and have created a questions, prediction and method for their experiment.
