This week in maths, children have continued to learn how to tell the time. Children have been introduced to digital clocks and have started to use AM, PM and 24 hour times. We have also been calculating durations of time on both analogue and digital clocks.
In English, children have been reading an extract from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Children have been learning the story map by creating their own actions to the story and using drama to explore the characters.
In science, children have started their new topic about plants. Children have learned about the parts of a plant and their different functions.
