This week in maths, children have been learning all about fractions. We have been recognising a half, quarter and of shapes and amounts. Children have also been applying this to reasoning and problem-solving questions.
In English, children have started to learn their new story, Grace Darling. Children have been learning our story map, finding out about vocabulary and finding and comparing the features of suspense stories.
In DT, children have started their new cooking project. Children have been researching about Pizza and finding out about their favourite toppings. Then, they have created a tally chart, pictogram and bar chart using this data.
