This week in maths, children have been dividing by 3,4 and 8. They have been using their existing knowledge about sharing and grouping to help them decide the most suitable and easiest way to work out calculations.
In English, children have been learning about Limericks. Children have been identifying features and deciding what makes a good poem. Then, they have been creating their own rhyming couplets, boxing up and writing their poem in a small group.
For this week’s spellings, we are looking at Year 3 statutory spelling words.
Children will take part in a spelling quiz on these words on WB 9.01.23
