Ethos and Values
At John Clifford School, our ethos is based upon the aspiration to Believe you can achieve, celebrate success as we know that together we will grow.
This is manifested in the following Values shared by Our School and Local Community to:

Our Principles
Through our curriculum and the opportunities offered, we aim for children to believe in themselves and make a positive difference to our school, community and the world.
The Principles are set out using our John Clifford School (JCS) acronym:
- J - Journey of Learning - we want every child to believe that they can achieve through an ambitious curriculum and enriching opportunities
- C - Curiosity of Character - we want to develop every child's character and support positive wellbeing; developing respect, resilience and empathy
- S - Spirit of Contribution - we want every child to believe they can make a difference, developing their moral and social responsibilities

British Values
We are committed to the the Equali
ty Act (2010) and to promoting the fundamental British Values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty and mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs (2011).
