This week in maths, children have been learning all about tally charts, pictograms and bar charts. Children began the week with creating their own tally chart linked to our topic of transport. Children have then been answering a range of questions and using this data to create pictograms and bar charts.
In English, children have created their own monster or giant to write a story using dialogue. Children have thought carefully about the structure of their story, vocabulary and using dialogue correctly in their work.
In computing, children have been creating their own branching databases. Children have chosen a selection of animals and then created yes or no questions to sort these into groups.
