Week beginning 3rd May 2022
This week in maths, children have continued their learning with fractions. The have been finding fractions on a number line and using this to count up and down in different amounts. Children have also been learning how to find various fractions of amounts.
In English, children have started to write their version of the Grace Darling story. As a class, children have decided what they would prefer to happen in the story, created a plan and then written this.
In DT, Children have used their pizza designs to make their own pizza’s. Children had to roll out their dough, spread a sauce and then add toppings to create their pizza. It has been brilliant to see the children work as a team and feel a sense of achievement with their finished pizza’s.
