Week beginning 27th June 2022
This week in maths, children have continued to learn about shape and geometry. Children have continue to explore 2D shapes and consider the types of lines they can identify. Children have also explored 3D shapes, describing their properties and identifying the 2D shapes which make up their faces.
In English, children have invented their own story endings for the story of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Children have created a box up plan and then independently written their version of the story, focusing on using the key features of a story ending.
In PE, children learned a variety of badminton skills, focusing on the different ways we can use a racket. Children worked with their partners, taking it in turns to throw and hit.
