This week in maths, children have continued to learn how to tell the time. Children have been learning about the months of the year, the hours in the day and telling the time to nearest 5 minutes. Children have been creating their own clocks and using this to test their partners to tell the time.
In English, children have written their own letter to Mr Man explaining why he should not pull the rope. Children have thought carefully about their reasons for not pulling the rope, created a box up plan and written their own letter using persuasive writing features.
In science, children have been learning all about shadows and how they can change. Children completed an investigation, using an object and changing the distance of the torch light. Children have also made shadow puppets and used these in their homemade theatres.
