Rosemary

Week Beginning: 21st March

In Maths, we have continued our learning about fractions. We have been finding one half, one quarter and one third of shapes and numbers.

In English, we have been shared writing a non-chronological report about giraffes. We have been thinking carefully about the features we need in a non-chronological report and we have carefully structured and presented our writing. We have been using questions for our subheadings and using a range of conjunctions to extend our writing.

In reading, we have been learning about the differences between fiction and non-fiction texts. We have also continued answering questions about the text by looking carefully at what the question is asking us and using this to help us find the answers in the text.

In Science, we have been learning about how animals and plants adapt to their habitats.

In PE, we have continued developing our dribbling and accurate passing skills in football and basketball.

In DT, we have painted over our papier-mâché for our African masks.
