What a wonderful half term it has been. We loved seeing the children in their fantastic Easter Bonnets yesterday. Thank you for all your support with these. The children were so thrilled to show them off to their friends. It was great to see the children and the parents at the Easter Bonnett Parade.
This week we have enjoyed counting objects such as frogs, rabbits and chocolate eggs. We have looked at groups of chocolate eggs and said which group has more and which has fewer. We also had a go at putting the numbers 1-5 in order and some of us had a go at ordering 1-10.
The children have also sorted 2D and 3D shapes. They matched squares to cubes, rectangles to cuboids etc. and we talked about which shapes had straight sides and how many as well as shapes which were round and curved.
Today, we had a great time when we had our own Easter egg hunt in our playground. We hope that you all have a great holiday.
